Referral Program

Did you know that Projects by Peggy has a referral program? Clients can get a discount on a new design or on maintenance fees for each referral that results in a completed website design (5 pages or more). Tell your business friends about Projects by Peggy and ask them to mention that you referred them to my services. (Limit: One referral per website.)

Associates Degree Earned

Peggy Shields, freelance web and graphic designer and owner of Projects by Peggy, is happy to report that she received her Associates of Applied Science degree in graphic design and multimedia in August. Attending Westwood College Online, based in Denver Colorado, Peggy maintained a 3.95 GPA and was on the Dean’s List throughout her college career. During the May 2005 term, she volunteered as a Flash teaching assistant under her former instructor, Daye Collier. Peggy’s classes at Westwood included Image Editing, Digital Illustration, Digital Layout, Web Page Design, Multimedia/Audio-Visual, and Multimedia Presentation Graphics. Peggy plans to continue attending Westwood to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in web design and multimedia, with expected graduation in December 2006.

Westwood College Online offers 16 Associate and Bachelor degree programs in Business, Design, Information Technology, Criminal Justice and Fashion Merchandising. Lewisburg—Projects by Peggy welcomes new client, Mark Decor. This business specializes in painting, staining and historical preservation which includes exterior and interior painting of residential and light commercial businesses. Clients of Projects by Peggy are invited to submit newsworthy event information for publication in the next quarterly newsletter, which will be published in early December. If you have something you’d like to share, email me the specifics. I can’t promise to publish everything I receive but will do my best to share appropriate news that will be of interest to the readers of this newsletter.

Web Hosting Services

Through a recent partnership, Projects by Peggy is now able to offer web hosting services to its clients. This change will provide quicker response to customer service issues and better site features and functionality for client websites, including unlimited email accounts with web access, mailing lists, databases, counters and guestbooks. This service remains low cost as required by the Projects commitment to keep fees affordable. New clients will be served by Projects hosting and current clients can select to change when their hosting is due for renewal, if desired.
