Web Writing for Wireless Devices
More and more people are accessing the web through phones and PDAs. As a web developer, I need to be ready to meet the challenge. As the website owner, you need to consider whether or not your clients might be using wireless devices to connect to your website.
If you are concerned about wireless technology and your website, contact me to discuss what we can do to prepare your site for this medium.

It's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner. We can soon look forward to the beautiful foliage and cooler days before the snow flies. School is back in session and life gets a little more crazy.
Projects by Peggy is busy and I want to take time to thank all my clients for their part in making it happen. Enjoy the newsletter and if you need anything at all, get in touch. I'm always here for you.
Much has happened in my world since our last newsletter ...
Client referrals continue to bring new people into my circle of friends and I am grateful for the opportunity to meet new people and serve their needs.
A quick list of new clients:
- The Coup Agency, Milton
- Carriage Corner Restaurant, Mifflinburg
- The Improved Milton Experience, Milton
- Montour-DeLong Community Fair, Washingtonville
In addition to new clients, we continue to support our long time clients with new services and maintenance, as needed.
- The Mifflinburg Boys Basketball Club website was transitioned to a blog so the coach and students can do their own updates and keep a history of the team's progress.
- Gemberling's Furniture website went through a makeover/transition to XHTML/CSS. One of my first clients, the old site was done the hard way. Keep watching this one - new info regarding the new Sleep Shop on Route 15 is coming soon.
A Passion for Compassion
On the personal side, I am now a Compassion Advocate. Compassion International is a ministry that focuses on releasing kids from poverty. Using a holistic approach, Compassion addresses the physical, spiritual, educational and emotional needs of children by working with local churches to bring hope and a future to those who have none.
A good definition for poverty is "lack of opportunity." When you understand that they aren't lazy, that they just happen to be born in a poor country without the resources we so often take for granted, you then begin to understand how important it is to share and make a difference in the life of a child.
For just $32 a month, YOU can provide life and hope to those with little or no hope. Sponsor a child today!
